Hi all! It's my first post. Welcome. I figure that since I still have time, I'm going to focus today's blog on holiday shopping.
I'm sure a lot of us have ventured out despite the snow and ice. As Jen calls it, today's downpour of "ice rain" is hard to ignore. Where we normally would've braved, today even shopaholics like Jen and I avoided going and stayed put.
But it's also so very tempting...
There's nothing more exciting and more confusing than holiday fashion. So many people think of red, white, and green when it comes down to holiday dressing - but really the holidays is a chance for us to consider a parade of extraordinary fabrics and textures, not to mention the accessories.
Ignoring the colours for now, dresses come in velvet, silk, satin, crepe and glitter fabrics. They are adorned with pleats, ribbons, fringes, sequins, sparkles, or classic lace. Even if you go with a nice drapey viscose or lycra dress, you can spice things up with your makeup or hair.
So much to talk about! So little time. As I have to rush out now for a dinner - let me leave you all hanging for now and thank you all for reading. Later tonight I will post up some more comments on holiday shopping, on the little black dress, and what my favorite items this year are.
Talk soon!
Shoes above are from Prada.
